One hour late gets you a quarter of the fare back.

EU Rail Passenger Rights Regulation 2021/782 sets it out: 60 to 119 minutes late means 25 percent of the ticket price, 120 minutes or more means 50 percent. Railways may set a minimum threshold, but no higher than 4 euros per ticket.

Useful: What counts is arrival at your destination, not the connection you missed on the way.
