Larger companies run applications through an applicant tracking system first. It splits your CV into fields and searches for terms from the job ad. So use their exact wording, avoid tables, columns and graphics that break the parsing, and upload PDF or Word files rather than images.

Useful: Compare your CV against the ad: if its keywords are missing, a person may never see it.
