How to come across as likeable without talking about yourself.

Huang and colleagues showed in 2017 that people who ask more questions are liked more. Follow-up questions that build on the last answer work best – they made up about 40 percent of all questions asked. In speed dating, a higher share of follow-ups went with more second dates.

Useful: After every answer, ask a question that could only have come from that answer.
