The invisible corridor every deal lives in.
The ZOPA (Zone of Possible Agreement) is the range between the maximum a buyer would pay and the minimum a seller would accept. If you pay at most €8,000 and the other side sells from €6,500 upwards, every possible deal lies between those numbers. If there is no overlap, no negotiating skill helps – the zone doesn’t exist.
Useful: Estimate both limits beforehand; where the zone lies decides how bold your first offer can be.
