Body & HealthFact
The best sitting posture is the next one.
There's no perfect posture to hold for hours – spinal discs get nutrients only through movement, as they have no blood supply of their own. The WHO recommends adults get 150–300 minutes of moderate activity a week and break up long sitting periods regularly. Just standing up every 30 minutes helps.
Useful: An expensive chair is no substitute for standing up.
