You get a new skeleton every ten years.

Bone is living tissue under constant reconstruction. Osteoclasts eat away old material, osteoblasts lay down new. About 10 percent of your bone mass is replaced each year, so the skeleton renews itself completely roughly every 10 years. The remodelling follows load: where force acts, more is built. That is why astronauts in weightlessness lose about 1 percent of bone mass per month.

Useful: Loading such as jumping or strength training is a construction order for your bones.
