Mind & EverydayFact
There are no left-brained and right-brained people.
In 2013 Nielsen and colleagues scanned the resting-state networks of over 1,000 brains. They found no individuals whose left or right hemisphere was globally more connected. Single functions are indeed lateralised: language sits on the left in about 96 percent of right-handers.
Useful: "I'm just a creative right-brain type" is an excuse, not neurology.
