How to reverse a wrong direct debit with one click.

With a SEPA direct debit, the payee pulls money from your account because you gave them a mandate. In return, you can reverse any direct debit within eight weeks without giving a reason, usually right in your online banking. If you never granted a mandate, the deadline is even 13 months. The money is back in your account immediately.

Useful: Check debits monthly; the eight-week window runs from the booking date.
